Details:

The dual band compressor cards from the 8100A cards 3, 4 and 5 are removed installed in the 8100A st studio chassis. All of the 8100A's available to me are still in service, so I couldn't borrow the cards to test the studio chassis so this chassis is sold as is with no guarantee. Note that these replacement cards are not included with the studio chassis in this offer.

You are buying on the chassis with output card only, as shown in the photos.

This unit looks complete and appearance is consistent with its age and experience. It powers on and all power supplies test good. Though not shown in the photos, this unit will include an optimod key to open the door that secures the controls i'll have a copy cut when it sells.

The 8100 st originally came with a pair of simplified input cards 3tx and 4tx that replace removed cards 3 and 4 in the 8100A. Orban optimod 8100A st studio chassis this accessory for the legendary optimod 8100A is designed to optimize the air product in environments where the studio to transmitter link STOL is a discrete analog path, such as analog Delco lines or a dual channel microwave link. The 8100A st studio chassis came from the factory with only one card the output amplifier and three empty card positions. I replaced a broken barrier terminal strip on the back.
