I have three of these for sale and will provide an equal amount of crimp pins and housings for the back end connections personally, I didn't need the shunts as I used the patch bay as a straight thru connection to my equipment.

My guess it that the stuff was plugged in and left alone it is highly configurable and yet can also act as a simple patch bay. It is in really good shape. And yeah, I had to Wikipedia that to figure out what they were talking about.
