This unit did the trick and was well worth money. On the back you can dial in your line output, as well have a two channel effects loop send return and port for foot pedal chorus reverb effects, even headphone monitoring.

I purchased this piece to work with my Alvarez model 5082, which did not have a preamp. You don't have to own a rack system use this unit, just set it on top of and plug in your good go. I do not have a user manual for this but you can look online and get the info. This unit comes with a power cord only, foot pedal not supplied.

Easily shape your sound. I really don't want to get rid of it, but am downsizing my guitars and equipment.
