Dbx 160xt dual compressor limiter images to recently acquired from a pro rental company that was liquidating inventory. This unit has been modified. Some more specs and details: the 160xt is probably best-known of classic Dbx 160 compressors.
Don't be fooled by the price. Compression ratio is infinitely variable from 1:1 through 4:1, 8:1 all the way to: 1 and beyond, negative ratios, where output decreases with input.
No accessories included. Offer is for Dbx 160xt dual compressor limiter with ac adapter only, as pictured. Some scratches and wear from rack mounting.
The 160xt is similar to 160x but adds XLR connectors and some updates circuitry deceptively simple with just three controls: threshold, compression ratio output gain. This allows for some pretty extreme compression effects the front panel has an over easy switch, to change shape of threshold knee, meter input output bypass switch and a slave stereo linking. Dynamics of the led displays are excellent and its easy to see what compressor is doing, even from a distance under poor lighting conditions 160x xt fantastic.
