It's a powerful tool for monitoring incoming feeds in television production, machine room trs and edit bays, commercial and industrial systems, and in mobile vehicles. The woofer handles all of the low frequencies, however, it is not to be considered a or sub woofer speaker.

That said, this system is very useful for monitoring surround sound signals in a compact, rack mountable form factor. The left and right speakers only output mid and high frequencies.
