I bought these to replace some Warm EPS as missed that two band passive EQ. These units have a crisp and detailed high end you can boost them far greater than in computer plugin. Its an added bonus that these are awesome on price, but saying they're budget units would be dishonest as I'm fairly certain they can stand with or even outclass other similar Pultec Inspired EQ's. And none of that boxy-Bess or harshness Vasts often get you.

So if you're looking for a great set of Esq with tube warmth and an analog vibe, I'd thoroughly recommend. I use it alongside a SS Tone lux Equals EQ and find myself reaching for Bart Harks just as much $1500 box. Really sizzle and pleasing. Low end is pleasing and forceful as well.

Perfect for my electronic music. I pretty much have them on every master for some extra brightness without getting too brittle. Love these EQ's. I only need one for my vocal chain so I m selling the duplicate.

I can say am not disappointed. All tube units are sometimes too smeary and fat for dance music, but this fits my rig excellently. I have two of these. It stays tighter than you would expect for a tube unit as its hybrid design.
