Details:

Gold metal housing looks good all around. Not the original cord. The motor runs quiet but its not silent. I don't find any damage to the chassis or motor mounts behind this.

This was a bit of puzzle until I discovered the roller is hard plastic. Buttons properly initiate functions. Sold as-is.

I don't have the equipment to test this properly so heres what know from a physical inspection: - one tape head with red top looks good, but three of heads are worn as shown in pic example. Includes the remote switch, don't know if it works or not. The two shrouded heads I could not see. The rubber feet have dried out, two will fall but a spot of glue fix it.

I've never seen such a thing in cassette or reel to deck so I suspect this may not be the original roller, rubber outer wheel has come off. All tubes light up no transformer hum knobs and buttons work good. A dent in the face plate at right top corner next to Echolette name.
