This is an Orban 418A stereo limiter heres link to a demo from gestalts of a similar unit not this specific one 418A demo the unit is good working condition but has 2 minor issues the right channel output is about. Beautiful sounding limiter.
Strange enough, I own another 418A and it acts the same. When set to heavy limit compression, it sounds a bit like the 1176 when all the ratio buttons are pressed.
Cosmetically, it has some signs of wear here and there, some small marks, scuffs and rack rash but overall it is in good condition. The meter function pot is kinda loose and the knob is not exactly aligned but still turns fine.
When you crank up the input knob you can get a really nice overdrive. For 230v countries there's actually to change to voltage setting by changing the position of a jumper inside the unit.
