Again, that being said and in spite of these minor issues, the unit seems to work fine. This is a rare piece of gear that exemplifies the old school analog vibe of much of the early processors from the 70s.

You kind of have to jiggle them around to get a solid connection but once they settle in, all is well. Up for offer is a very cool vintage Roland rss ph 830 stereo rackmount phase shifter. The left channel output seems that it may be slightly lower than the right channel, but that may be related to the input jack.

Electronically, the unit is working well and 'phase shifting' as designed all switches, knobs and leds work fine. Alternately, I actually think the unit got 'better' and more even in its performance the longer it was in use analog circuitry warming up, perhaps bottom line is that this unit works well but could possibly use a dash of TLC, maybe just a deep cleaning some contact cleaner, to bring it closer to spec.

I would bet that a burnishing tool of some sort would clean the shafts and inner 'tips' of these jacks and make for a much better and consistent connection.
