Manufacturer's notes the c valve from Samson is a low voltage tube pre amplifier for microphones, instruments or line level signals and outputs a pure signal and silky sound.

It features variable gain and variable tube process saturation for adding harmonics. A digital output provides direct connectivity with stand alone or computer hard disc recorders and two preamps can have their outputs linked through one of the unit'pdif output.

Phantom power is provided for use with condenser microphones and a phase switch allows for changing the phase of the unit's output. No media software, etc.
