The tsl 3 is an amazing sounding limiter this unit, serial number 19, is in mint condition probably not a scratch.
There are a number of things that make this unit particularly special. Each channel includes a switch for bypass, as well as a switch to select the VI meter to display output or gain reduction. The tubes sound amazing.
Operation is simple with only controls for reduction and make up gain. It has the original hammered metal face plate that is no longer available see photos. This particular compressor has been used on many hit records on vocals.
The later units use the cheaper, toggle switches. It is also fitted with 40 position detente controls for more precise recalls. It works on almost any source but is particularly great for vocals.
