What else makes the ae version so special they are the only 1176s out there that have 2/1 ratio, and they also offer slower attack 10ms and quite a few different settings with the all buttons pushed in. They are fully functional and in excellent shape.

I am a home studio hobbyist and am putting up for sale some of my favorite pieces of gear. The only thing worth mentioning is one knob cap has lost its silver cover, but I have a nos knob from ua, just needs to be installed simple easy job, but doesn't effect how they function so I haven't done it yet. I've compared them side by side with modern equivalents like purple Audio mc77 and Moho Audio Moet 76, and while those two sound great, these 1176AE sound special to my ears, you don't have to try hard with them, what you put through just comes out sounding better, really nice low end without any harshness in the highs. This pair is incredibly rare because they are a stereo sequential matched pair.

It can really sound amazing on kick, snare, bass, vocals, drum buss. If you only want one I can split these up for each, but it would be great to sell as a pair, they are perfect for stereo duties and sound amazing on the drum buss.
