The tone is full band pass somewhat transparent with its own subtle, classic coloration gritty when you dig in, plenty of sparkle on top. These pedals are hard to find, and there really isn't anything else with this quality output. You can crank it high without losing bottom-end and still get more grit. I use this at the end of my pedal board right before.

From gtrwrks:the years to are still remembered for certain American tube amps with black face plates that cranked out classic tones.
