Long story short,a friend had a studio, wanted something different in a tube mic pre. Retired studio engineer keeping busy doing repairs still cleaning out the garage.
The original shock mounts are there, and in reasonable condition for their age. 2, 12ax7's the spec's state 3db 20 to 15k, 45 db of gain, 57 Sn 1 volt max out, almost buss level. I have a nice bench supply and it powered up fine, but it was a bit gummy I changed out to a battery for the filament supply and wow very clean this is 60's vintage and had civil defense icon's in the paperwork.
It will cost you to ship it. It will work with balanced w transformer or un balanced mic's using jumpers.
He wanted it. The tubes I just picked out of my spares tested OK shipping this will fit in a USPS medium box with lots of room for padding packing.
